The video highlights the calls for the resignation of the BoG Governor and his deputies over allegations of economic mismanagement and illegal activities.

Allegations Against the Bank of Ghana

Ablakwa pointed out several key issues:

  • Massive Financial Losses: The BoG has reportedly incurred losses amounting to GHC 60.8 billion, which he states is unprecedented.
  • Illegal Printing of Money: The Governor is accused of illegally printing GHC 77 billion in currency without parliamentary approval, which violates Section 30 of the BoG's own regulations.
  • Lack of Transparency: The BoG's management has been criticized for a lack of transparency and accountability in its dealings.
